ResponderEliminarW.H.O is a human rights group that helps people in their health. Many countries receive assistance in their hospital through the W.H.O. This institution manages prevention policies, promotion and intervention in the health worldwide. The W.H.O is organized by O.N .U and in 2009 the institution was awarded with Prince of Asturias Award for international Cooperation.
The World Health Organization (W.H.O) has the purpose to play a leadership role in global health matters, shaping the agenda of health research, establish standards, articulating policy options based on evidence, provide technical support to countries and monitoring and assessing health trends.
In the XXI century, health is a shared responsibility, involving equitable access to health care and collective defense against transnational threats.
W.H.O defines health as a complete physical and mental, and not merely the absence of infection.
But the World Health Organization (W.H.O) has many activities with the world for example: classifying all diseases, taking action to stop an epidemic and sanitary measures on international travel, stating programs to prevent AIDS and assist the least developed countries. The World Health Organization (W.H.O) also sponsors various health-related campaigns, such as the consumption of fruits and vegetables in the world, or the to reduction of the use of snuff.
